ordination herself. Twelve Bhikkhus performed the ordination with Ajahn
Brahm the preceptor and Ajahn
Brahmali and Venerable Sangharatana leading the motion to ordain. Ajahn gave a short talk after the ordination pointing out that at 70 years of age, Venerable Upasama may not have that long to practice as a monk, but he is certainly doing the right thing. We welcome Venerable Upasama to the sangha.
Upasama's Bhikkhu Ordination
On a cold winter's night a small crowd gathered to attend the ordination of Samanera Upasama. All went well and he is now known as Bhikkhu Upasama.
